svchost.exe 2,580Most of the processes that take a lot of memory are svchost.exe. What exactly is this process? And how do I disable this stuff because msconfig does not allow me to change it.

is your windows 7 a 32 or 64 bits ?
because memory more than 4Go doesn’t work in a 32 bits OS !
