I’m going to a trade show to promote our PBS television series. I’ll be using my laptop connected to a 25″ monitor to show a highlight reel. What would be the best rendering format to use to show off the video to the best advantage?
    Thanks.

I would render to Sony AVC and use the Internet 16:9 HD 30p template because this is pretty much guaranteed to play back smoothly and have great quality. You could also render it using the same template but change the resolution from 1280×720 to 1920×1080. If this plays back smoothly I would use this version. It depends on how powerful your laptop is. Otherwise use the 720p version. Having both might not be a bad idea.

I also have had good success with doing this…My laptop has HDMI and SVGA…720p worked great on a display!
