rendering option: only .avi
Hey all,
I just rebooted my PC (I’m a mac guy) and just installed After Effects 7.0. And all my re-instaled required drivers.
However, I can only render an .avi file. There aren’t any other options.
I have installed and reinstalled quicktime.Am I having a codec problem? A driver problem?
I just don’t know!

are you rendering via the render queue or are you exporting via the file menu?

I am rendering with the render queue.
And the only option in the drop down menu is .avi!? -
sorry it took so long to get back to you (out sick most of last week)…
this is strange… when you say ‘from the drop down menu’ are you refering to the pulldown next to the output module or the pulldown for format at the top of the output module settings window?
