  • Rendering Livetype or Motion files ‘jump’ after being rendered

Posted by Ian Liuzzi-fedun on July 10, 2009 at 2:41 am

I have a few grphic (Livetype and Motion) files that I have brought in to Final Cut Pro. After rendering them for output in real-time they seem to jump up upon fading in and fading out. The color also changes on them. Any help would be appreciated. I am using the latest version of everything.

Could be your sequence settings. Are your video processing/render motion quality settings both set to best?

Also, you may have better results w/ your fade in/out transitions on these clips if they are actually done in Motion, not in FCP.

They are set to best. I want to do it in FCP like I always have. It seems with 6.05 or so this issue began.
