  • Rendering green spots around text from psd file

    Hi.

Working in a Dvcpro HD 1080 psf 25(dominance set to “none” all over)timeline.

Combination of files from motion, multilayered psd’s and video.

The last (of course) psd looks ok in preview but when I render it, green squares appear around the text.

It is a dual layered psd where the background has some transparency and the foreground is text.

Weird thing is that I use a lot of identical set up psd’s in this project and all but this works as supposed.

    Any ideas?

    Odd.

I turned off the “high Precision” settings – and it worked out.

    Any idea as to why?

If possible change the PSDs to TGAs, photoshop files often render strangely for me too!!

I get this on PSDs, but only where I have a soft shadow and the settings on High Quality YUV. I posted thsi on the Decklink Forum. They checked this out and found it was an Apple bug, so still no fix?

I also manifests itself on 3D Transitions.

This bug has been around for quite some time. Apple REALLY needs to fix this. I usually just save my gfx files as TIFF’s. Sure would be nice to work with layered PSD’s without this happening on occasion.
