  • Rendering from AE so it ends on the last frame

I have never had this request before so I am stumped… they want their mp4s rendered so that they don’t automatically loop to the first frame with the play button.

I think their worry is that it will loop to the play button on social media platforms instead of staying on the last frame. They say their last animator rendered it so that wouldn’t happen.

Is there a setting in AE or Me that makes that possible?

Generally this is down to the player used as to what happens. The simplest solution is to add time to the end of the video, so that the final frame lasts for 5 minutes.

Is it possible to ask to see a previous video, if that was the method, then you’re sorted.

Alternatively you could convert to a GIF using photoshop and in the Save for Web settings there’s an option for looping.
