Rendering for multiple end formats
Newbie getting things sorted out in my head….
I film in AVCHD 1080/50i.
I use Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 and DVD Architect 5.0.
Eventually after editing in Vegas I want the best output for DVD and also for Blu-ray.
(I am filming big band concerts with separate 1st/2nd half which can be easily split over 2 DVD disks if necessary.)Is it best to use these templates for rendering in Vegas:
For Blu-ray use: Blu-ray 1920×1080-50i, 25 Mbps
For DVD use: DVD Architect PAL WidescreenOr use a single template and let DVD Architect sort out the format depending on my final destination format?
And what is the best sound render for each format?

No, you want to render each one individually from Vegas. This will give you the highest quality and avoid re-rendering in DVD Architect. Those are the correct templates to use.

Dolby Digital AC-3 for both formats (which means you only need to render the audio once)
