I am getting so many answers to this its not even funny, I am starting to suspect that no one really knows, ok here is the scenerio
I use hvx200 with raylight and vegas 7 to chop it all up
    not I always shoot 720 24PN or 720 30PN
I do commercials here in texas and whenever I am done I have to upload an mpeg2 file into an ftp site so that the commercia gets aired.
now here is the problem, when rendering out of vegas do I need to apply 3+2 pulldown?
some people even say that I need to always render at 30fps regarless of the way I shot it wheather it was 24pn or 30pn
now I know that is worng because if you shot it a 24PN how in the hell is it going to look good at a 30fps rennder

I am really confussed, can someone with experience please tell me the proper way to do this for boradcast?

    thanks

if it’s going to broadcast, it needs pulldown. 60i is standard. If your broadcaster has special offerings, they’d be letting you know, and outside of anything “special” they’re broadcasting 60i, not 30p, not 24p.

ok so what does that mean that I have to render my 24PN project as 60i?

Unless the broadcaster is specifically set up for 24p, then yes…you need to render it to 60i.
