I’m exporting a project that is only 2500 frames long. I’m using multipass and compositing and external compositing tags. Is there a reason it’s taking this long. I have about 5000 ojects in the shot. Is there a quicker way to render out. The only thing i’m needing to do it to have the ability to change materials in after effects.

Render times are directly related to what is in the scene and there are a thousand ways to optimize your scene. With out seeing the scene its pretty hard to help you out.
Sorry I didnt see your reply to the ground breaking post before now.

The best option may be putting it up on c4dcafe forum then you might get more people to help…and they have a file upload option.

Or if its small enough you could just email it.

or send me your email and i can send you some ftp info.
