That is a lie. Both of your topics were replied to by 2 different “experts”. That they were unable to solve your problem should be the focus of this discussion.
If deinterlacing fixed your “skippy” video, then your problem was self-induced by inverting the field order of the source video footage at some point in the post-production pipeline. Or by interlacing progressive footage incorrectly. Either way, in future projects you should take care to preserve the source footage’s field order if you are outputting for interlaced TV. Outputting for progressive display devices like computer monitors or HDTV is another subject entirely.
