I’m using FCP7 on a Quad Core Mac and overtime I go to render is stops and tells me I don’t have enough memory. Or won’t render my Twixtor plug-gins. I just got this computer off a friend who competelly re fragged it and it has 8 gig of memory and 127gig on the hard drive. Anyone got any idea about hoe to fix this. Cheers Marty

    Hi Marty

Is it the “Out of Memory” error message ? Do you have stills in your sequence bigger than 4000 pixels in any dimension ? Or high DPI images.
If so reduce them in size and to 72 DPI
Thats a very common cause for that error. Not sure about the Twixtor renders, Might be worth the old prefs trash.

I have also heard of people reducing the stills cache setting to 1 to get around this.
You will find lots of threads here on this error in general

    Hope something there helps

    best wishes
