rendering error
I keep getting the following error that disrupts any attempt to render a particular project in FCP 4.5. Please advise.
“File Error: The specific file is open and in use by this or another application”

Sorry about all the junk. The new post process was hanging up and not giving me any confirmation.

That’s an error that crops up all the time… even on a modern FCP suite.
Try switching your render location. Repair permissions…. Does it sometimes render and sometimes not, even though nothing’s changed? That’s my experience
