rendering error
Hi guys,
i am using premiere pro 2. i am creating my demo reel atpresent. i have 3900 frames of tga high quality files qued in the sequences. i need a avi output. but whenever i try rendering the sequence its show unknown error and closes the rendering window. can anyone tell me the solution.
i am using core 2 duo , 2.5 gb ram hp workstation. winxp pro sp2. thanks in advance

There are a few reasons for this strange error, and there a few ways to get around it.
1. Do you have a very large still image file (jpg, psd, bmp,tga, etc)? This can cause the error. Resize the image down to 2000 pixels or less
2. Check you preview disk setting in your prefs and make sure it is set to your largest/fastest drive (sometimes it defaults to C drive and then aborts a render due to low disk space)
3. Create a NEW premiere project and IMPORT the other one into the new project and then try to output.This technique has been a lifesaver for many since CS3 has launched.
