Rendering a targa Composition
Hello,
Really hope you Pros can help me.I’m working on an animation and rendered individual Targa frames that need to be composited and made into a DVD.
What format should it be set on?
I’m using AE7 and can’t find the Mpeg2 format for the output in AE,is this the best setting for a DVD output?
Is there any other settings that can make the output quality better.
I’m getting the Best results when i render as .MOV file but losing quality when I burn it to DVD.
Please help if you know the answer.I will forever be in your dept,

Here are the three stages to DVD:
1. high-quality video from AE or an NLE
2. MPEG-2 video compressed from video #1
3. authored, burned DVD, incorporating video #2#1 may be uncompressed AVI, Quicktime Animation, 8-bit uncompressed, Photo-JPEG, whatever — but not MPEG-2, DV (if you can help it), MPEG-4, and so on.
#2 may be created by recompressing #1 in AE or something like Compressor or Squeeze. I like Compressor nowadays.
#3 may be created with EncoreDVD, DVDStudio Pro and so on. These apps author the DVD, and some also create #2 at the same time, though not as well as the apps mentioned above.
