Rendering 50i to ( 50i ) ?
I am pretty new to this forum and i really need your help guys. I recently bought a Canon HF100 camcorder and i’m editing my videos in sony vegas. I ALWAYS record in 50i ( no fake 25p ). When i connect my camcorder to my PC and run the raw .MTS file in windows media player it runs extremly smooth and fluid. I suppose that the file is recorded in 50i ( 50 fps or 50 half frames/ second ), anyway, when i now edit it in vegas i want to render it out exacly as smooth as it was before. But this prosedure seems impossible. The video is laggy and shoppy. I really need to know how im going to render my video to get it fluid and that its fluid on youtube later too. I tried ALL codecs that are included in sony vegas ( if you have any just tell me ) I found out that for my AVCHD footage sony avc works the best. I tried to render in various mbps settings and also different framerates, such as 25i/50i/60i/25p/50p/60p. Also my properties settings are always on match media and should be the right ones. Sometimes it renders out fine when i render it as 25i but when i put it on youtube it’s extremly laggy and shoppy, not as in my computer. I guess it has to to that youtube converts my video to progressive, but then again, how do i get it fluid on youtube/vimeo?
Basically im looking for a setting/properties to get the most fluid and best motion vid from my 50i footage.
Thank you very much, Henric
