  • Rendering 4 Audio Channels to AVI – no Audio

I need to render out a Vegas 9.0 project to a quicktime delivery of 1920×1080 with 4 audio channels. The Vegas doesn’t give me an option of rendering 4 channels through Quicktime 7.0, only stereo. I was able to export a few AVI tests with 4 audio channels by applying a buss to each audio track. I was hoping to then convert this to a Quicktime that preserves the 4 audio channels.
    1. Does the AVI to Quicktime conversion while maintaining all audio tracks makes sense?
    2. My last successful render test was on Friday, but, starting last night (Sunday) all of the test I rendered out came out with no audio.
No matter what settings I tried in the render and even though the time-line it self plays the audio when I try and view the AVI’s they play only video.

Any help that comes today is very much appreciated.
    Thank you.
