Rendered video not filling the screen in Full Screen Mode
Hello,
I have an HDV 1440x1080x12 video in AVC format, shot with my Sony HDR-SR12 camera.
What I intend to do is converting my video to XviD.What happens is after rendering my video I can’t expand it fully in Full Screen mode (e.g. in Windows Media Player or VLC) whilst the original video fits the screen properly. The player goes to Full Screen mode but the video never adjusts itself in order to fill the screen.
The rendered video has the intended aspect ratio though.
I used these settings: 1440×1080, pixel aspect ratio 1.0 and disabled the “stretch video to fill output frame size (do not letterbox)” option.Has anyone experienced this or knows how to solve this problem? I’m currently using Vegas Pro 9 but I had the same problem in Vegas Pro 8 as well. I just really want to maintain the video as it is (same dimensions) but encoded in XviD so that I can easily share it. Can I do this any more easily with Final Cut or iMovie, for example?
Thank you.
