Rendered video looks good. Youtube upload looks awful.
I’ve tried exporting from after effects as MPEG4, Avi, H.264 and more. My video is 640×360 by choice and I just don’t understand how the output looks crisp (right) and youtube (left) looks grainy and washed out. To really see how bad it is compare the wood to the right of the character. I understand youtube compresses it but I’ve seen crisp 640×360 videos before.

In your example what that was uploaded to youtube, exactly what did you upload, and how did you render it?
