Hi, I have a recording of a presentation given in a meeting room with a projector. I had to adjust the exposure on the camera so the screen looked ok, that made the presenter dark.

I’ve made some adjustments in Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 and now the video looks better. I can easily read the text on the projector screen (its programming code, the text is small) and the presenter is not so dark. But on the rendered video the text is blurry and hard to read. I’ve tried exporting in many different formats, and bit rates up to 16Mpbs. It still looks blurry. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I use the 2nd monitor preview in Vegas, with the quality setting to Best (Full). It looks great there. But when I play the rendered file, it looks pretty bad. The presenter is dark and the text on the screen is blurry.

    Here’s a link to a clip of the exported file (mp4, 10MB): https://www.filedropper.com/sonyvegasexporttest

Here’s a screen grab of the preview in Vegas: https://img193.imageshack.us/img193/7690/sonyvegaspreviewf.jpg

    Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve found that rendering it at 60i makes it as clear as the original video recording and as clear as it is inside Sony Vegas. But this makes my exported file very large.

Is there any way to get it clear at 29.97 fps?

I thought my camera did 1080p, but when I look at the source file properties in Vegas it says this:
    Video: 00:10:37.570, 29.970 fps interlaced, 1920x1080x12, AVC
