  Render to avi uncompressed for blu-ray ??

  So i shot on a panasonic hpx on p2 cards, and am using sony movie studio platiunum 9.0d, and raylight ultra plugin. I shot 720/30p, and now I have a short 20 minute video edited. I would like to save it to an external hd to take to a friends to burn some blu-ray hd disks. Should I “make movie” or “render as” ?? Should i do it as a avi uncompressed? Because when I did last night it was 95 gb and crashed 34% into the job. I had plenty of disk space also.
  Some say burn to avchd?
  It burns to avi ntsc widescreen just fine.
