    Hello,

What kind of render speeds are you getting with RSMB in FCP?

I would be applying “0.5” in most instances, to footage shot at fairly high shutter speeds.

I’m generally working with ProRes 422 at 1920×1080 at 24 fps, with FCP 6.

It would be helpful if you would please say what graphics card you are using.

(I believe RSMB uses only the graphics card to render in FCP, but please correct me if I am in error.)

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
If you are using the last version yes. Is an FxPlug, so is rendered on the graphic card.

    Rafael,
Thanks for your reply. I assumed “Open GL” meant graphics card only, but was not sure if there was also significant CPU used.

For those here who use RSMB with FCP, I’m eager to hear what render speeds you’re getting.

    Thanks again,

    Chris
