Render setting for using my footage in DVD architect?!?
First post on here!!!
So I filmed a bunch of hunting footage with my Panasonic tm700k in 1080i at 60fps…. I edited it in Sony Vegas pro 10… But when I try to burn it in DVD architect it compresses the files… Why!?!?!? I have it rendering to MPEG2 files. Ut what properties settings should I use if I want it to be used and watched on a standard DVD player!?!? Helped is appreciated thatnks!!!

Notwithstanding that Sony put it into the “Render As” menu, you don’t render MPEG – you encode it.
First, did you use the DVDA templates for MPEG and AC3 encodes? The defaults are OK for up to 90-minutes of video. Any longer then you will need to customize the template to use a lower bitrate. (Bitrate controls the filesize).

As Stephen said, the DVD Architect templates for MPEG2 is what you want to use. Specifically: DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream. Then render your audio as Digital Dolby AC-3.
