Powermac g5. FCP 5. Am trying to download to mini-dv. Can’t seem to render anything that displays on the timeline in preview (green) mode. It’s totally killing my final product. I can’t print to tape (without dropout stopping process), can’t manually pick up a video signal and edit to tape is not offered. I’ve been trying to figure this out for four hours now and I sure would like to go to sleep. Any ideas?

    Prefs>settings>render control, set to 100%.
RT selector on the timeline should be set to full quality, not playback (last selection at bottom of list).
This stuff is very confusing, truly.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
