Render Question
How do I tell FCP to render all sequences open ( in other words I have three projects open with three different timelines in my tabs.. I want it to render all three)

Open all sequences, and turn on auto render. It defaults to being so, so you can set the auto render to render after 1 minute, and then walk away.

Even easier: Select your sequences in the Browser. Then, Sequence > Render All
