Yep, brand spanking new to AF. How do you work the render Q and what it pre-render? what are some of the hot keys? Really duh questions I know but I would appreciate the help

oh and one more question. Why is it when I play back the timeline only some of it gets rendered, as in a certain amount? If i move the playhead to a being of a rendered timeline it has to render again.

Dave LaRonde, Thank you for taking the time to help me out. You’re right, as soon as you get out of the mind set it make a little more sense.
I checked out my new best friend before posting and it explained what rendering was but not exactly how to do it, but I probably missed something. I’ll get it though.

Brilliant!!! Thank you again. I think I am going to get Trish and Chris’s book today. I seen of of Aharon Rabinowitz’s tutorial. He does great work.
