My Graphics look good until I render them.

    Is there something I’m missing?

I Imported a Photoshop file with an alpha channel.
I need to lay this on a brown background.

I have 2 layers of video:
Layer 1- The logo (psd file)
Layer 2- A color matte created in FCP

The graphic look fine when I assemble it in a sequence
However when I render it there is a weird pixelated halo around the graphic.
    It look terrible

    Any Solutions?

My guess (with such little important info supplied) is you are using a sequence codec that is highly compressed like DV.

If so then choose a sequence codec that is kind on graphics like Uncompressed 10 bit or ProRes422. Change your easy setup, make a new sequence and copy paste your sequence into the new timeline. Re-render with render set to best

do a test export (apple-E) and see if the psd still looks bad, it could be that your psd needs a full render (no grayish-green or green bar)
