Render Problems
Hi,
I am a newbie and am finally admitting that I need some help.
I am working with AE 5.5 and FCP 4.5
My sequence is about 2 minutes long and cuts back and forth between two people using reverse angles. This was exported from FCP, video only, Pal-DV and imported into AE
I was able to key out the greenscreen and insert two separate backgrounds for each angle. The sequence looks fine in AE.
But I am having trouble getting an acceptable render for use in FCP.
If I render in Animation (which seems to be what I am supposed to do) I lose synch when inserting the sequence back into final cut (My original sequence is 1:41:05 and the Animation render is 1:41:15)
If I render in DV-Pal the synch is ok, but the quality is really soft and there is a noticeable loss of quality in comparison to the other footage.
With both renders I have an additional problem: When it cuts back and forth between the two angles, there are at times weird intermediate frames showing half of the other background or half of the other person.
Does this mean I have to key out each take separately and create separate compositions for each take?
I apologize in advance if any of these questions are obvious. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Ariane
