Render problem, VEGAS 13 – InternetHD 1080p

Hi,

I render my videos in InternetHD 1080p, and I have some problems regarding the output material. I render pictures with music attached, and I only add the sharpening tool to the image. When I render, the video that comes out has moving pixels every 5-10 seconds or so. The material is normal, and the pixels change after 10 seconds, then changes back, and this happens throughout the video. The change is really subtle, but it is easy to see if you focus on it, and looks unprofessional.

How do I fix it? I use the standard 1080p settings for InternetHD in Vegas 13

What are the specs for your original material ? Please run MediaInfo and post. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

My channel is semi big, but I do not know what I am doing wrong. I am a novice when it comes to Vegas, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just check that when you added the sharpening you did not accidentally added a key-frame. That’s all I can think of.

Hi John

So, if I read this right, the specs that you sent me are from the files that you uploaded to Youtube ?

What was (were) the effect(s) that you use on top of your background ? (Screen shot of your timeline would be nice)

When you say ”I use the standard 1080p settings for InternetHD in Vegas 13”, are you referring to MainConcept AVC/AAC ?

Have you tried rendering with Sony AVC/MVC Internet 1920X1080-30p also ?

Do you get the same effect with other types of render ? (.AVI, .MPG2, ETC…)

Example from my newest video. Fade effects and 0.5 sharpening on pictures (might be too much), and 0.6 sharpening on text. That is basically it. Correct, specs sent are from the two YT videos.

Yeah, InternetHD is referring to MainConcept, and I have also tried Sony AVC. I have not tried anything else, though. I cannot show the old .veg file as I do not save my project files. However, it happens on my new posts as well, although my newest videos are more subtle.

Should I try to render it in another format?

Btw, I also use track motion to resize the logos.

Hi John

I am seeing some artifacting in your blacks. (pixel blocks) For some reason the file may have been too compressed at some point.

When you are in Customize Template / Projects / Video rendering quality, Did you select Use Project Settings or Best ?

In File / Properties… / Video, can you do a screen grab of your settings ?

Right click the image on the timeline and tick ?

My system specs: Intel i7 7700k 4.20 GHz, GTX570, 16GB RAM, Gigabye Z170 HD3, Vegas Pro 12 (x64), Windows 10 x64 Pro, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6
