render pixelly
Posted by Macca Baz on January 28, 2015 at 10:37 amever render I make looks like the photo… very pixelly with colours.
(Looks like i am viewing an image over remote server)The video has only 2 video tracks. One is the glasses image on top (screen blend mode)
The video under has all the images and video track with a track motion 2D glow.I have rendered much more complicated projects in past with less problems than this.
I unchecked the smart resample too but still the same. i have rendered as mp4, wmv , mpg2 & avi with the same results. It looks fine in preview window.please help.

January 28, 2015 at 11:20 amtried render in 720p also.. its just the same.. really horrible looking. Tried many different render settings now… changed VBR to constant, changed between 720p/1080p, disabled force resample.
please help, I may have to just go boot up my mac and redo it in there, but i prefer vegas interface.

January 28, 2015 at 12:26 pmAre you sure that there are no effects applied to Video Output Bus (or track/media/event)?
Also make sure that Split Screen View button is not checked (in the Video Preview Window) -

First you upload the image (I assume you found this):
Then choose your file, upload your image, select it in the list of uploaded images, and copy and paste the url into your post:
Then if you just want to refer to one you’ve uploaded previously, just select it from the list and copy and paste the URL:

January 28, 2015 at 1:13 pmDoes it look fine in the preview and only bad when rendering?
Have you viewed it with Preview Best (Full)?
I’m trying to determine if this is a project problem or render problem. Feel free to post a screen shot of your timeline if you think it would help. Perhaps your Track Composite Mode is what’s causing the problem.

January 28, 2015 at 3:11 pmhi there was no effects applied,
I thought it may have been a problem with the images so I tested with different ones.
It is still the same….
it is a very blocky effect as if there are lots of squares.
This was a brand new render with noting in project except a few images placed on timeline.
again looks perfect in timeline
