Render Mystery!!
Hey everyone,
I’m in a real jam here.I’m working on a project using an AE project file that originally used Trapcode Form and Shine. I don’t have either, so I contacted the creator of the project to see if I had any other options.
He sent me a .mov file to replace what was being generated by Form. I replaced the footage and it looks wonderful! One small problem:
When I render (or even pre-render) the background layer (a simple two layer pre-rendered comp with gradient) and the .mov disappear.
They are present when I export the comp as a quicktime, they never appear when I render. I’ve tried rendering as a .avi, mpeg2, mpeg2-dvd,… the works.I’m running cs4 64 bit on Windows 7, iCore 7, 12 gigs of ram, 2 tb hd. My machine is decent and I’ve never had any problems like this.
Is it because I’m missing Form or Shine?
Please help. Thanks,
-Than
