    Hi All,

Im working on a project where I need to render out a image sequences as MPEG2 at 3200x1024px, CBR, upto 20Mbps.

I am trying to render this out on Media encoder but it will only let me render at maximum 1,920×1,080px

Anyone have a ideas or Tips on how I can render out MPEG2 at 3200x1024px ?

    Thanks

    Ed

That resolution is not technically supported with MPEG-2, and many encoders which enforce the codec’s constraints will not allow you to create a non-compliant file.

That said, ffmpeg would probably allow you do encode at this resolution.

Ah I see, Thank you for replying to my problem.

After talking it over with the programer we are going to use Mpeg4 instead which hopefully will work in Pandora and have high quality and be able to render out at 3200 x 1024px.

    Thanks again.

Maybe also look into the Hap codec for Pandora playback with your programmer.
