I have a timeline with about 60 edits. They each have been graded with Magic Bullet and rendered. Each time I close and go back into FCP the entire timeline is rendered, except for one clip. It constantly needs to be rendered after closing FCP. Can’t figure out why this is

Is there a Smooth Cam filter applied to that one clip?

Oh, you’re good! Yes, there is. So is that the nature of the smooth cam filter, in that I will have to constantly render it every time I opening FCP?

Yes, indeed. Or at least until the bug gets fixed. Right now any smooth cam renders don’t stick once you’ve closed the project. The work around is to render the segment, export as a self-contained movie then import it back into that spot on the timeline.
