render IN/OUT under sequence is missing but I get a grey bar I can move around- what is it?
So I am running TWO versions of Adobe Premiere (both latest build it appears) on two different machines. Now my problem: Those versions also DIFFER. It must be something in the settings but I just can’t find it.
What EXACTLY is missing and different?
If I go under Sequence (mind you, I am NOT using the English language version of Adobe Premiere so I am just translating the terms my version gives me. It might be that Adobe uses different wording. I still hope you get what I mean) I have the option to render the IN/OUT area in my version of Adobe Premiere. Nice. That way I can just set an IN in my sequence and an OUT and then I can render this. Now in this other version of Adobe Premiere something like “Render IN/OUT area” under sequence doesn’t exist. It’s just not there. What I get instead is: “Render Effects in work area” and “Render full working area”. I am also given a grey bar with blue handles on both sides above my time line which I can expand and drag around. I assume this might be the so called working area?
What exactly is this thing? How do I remove it? I do not want to use it. How do I get my “render IN/OUT area” settings because this is what I always use and want.I hope this made any sense to you. Thanks a lot.
