have over 2 Hours of DVD quality footage (PAL – Uncompressed Quicktime, Lower Field FIrst), and we want to try toget it on to one DVD. current file size for QT File is 5.7 GB. Are there DVDs bigger than 4.7 GB? does FCP abd DVD SP have the best option?
    thanks

lower your bitrates, or use roxio toast to compress the build folder.

U can get DVD 9GBs we had issues using DVD Studio Pro though, it burnt fine but wouldn’t play on our DVD machine. When we use the sonic though it was sweet. hope that helps.

You don’t need to worry, your quicktime size is not exactly the issue. It’s the size of the resulting MPEG2 that counts. For example, I have a 94 minute HD quictkime that is over SIX HUNDRED GB and when I export it to MPEG 2 it is still around 4.3 GB and thus fits on one DVD.
What software are you using to do the conversion?
