Hi All, I have put together a series of video clips from video camera and a few mobile phones. I have edited and my video montage looking good(well good for me).
Can you tell me how i can get this onto a dvd, ideally so it can be viewed on most dvd players. The file i have is 36 mins long and i thinks it’s around 7gb. Also is it possible to reduce the file size, because the original files are only 2.5gb in total.
I am learning sony vegas as i go and this is the first video i have done, so i am totally unfamiliar with saving file types.
Also if you guys have time, could you tell me how to add a dvd scene select menu at the begining(but its not important).
I’m using Sony Vegas Pro 9

    Thanks

The easy way is to download and install the free VASST DVD Prep plug-in and have it do all the work of selecting templates and rendering your video and audio for you.

The hard way is go to File | Render As… and select MainConcept MPEG-2 with the DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream template for 16:9 or the non-widescreen template for 4:3. Then render your audio as Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro using the Stereo DVD template. if you give them the same name just with different extensions, then DVD Architect will know that the files go together. then just author your DVD in DVD Architect.
