    Hello,
I am running AE 7.0 on a G5 Quad processor with 4 gigs of ram.
I am trying to render out some preview files of some still photos that I have animated. The final output will be 1920×1080 60i. For preview I am out putting DV 720×405. My comp settings are for 1920×1080. For some reason on images that have any glow effect I crash or I get a warning saying AE has run out of memory.
I tried purging the cache before starting renders but still seem to have the problem. Anyone else run in to anything like this?
My concern is that if it is crashing on the smaller preview size am I going to run into even more trouble when rendering out full frame size.
    Any input is great!
    Thanks
    DT

Sounds like maybe your glow plugin is corrupted or having other problems. Maybe try using a different glow method, or replace the glow plugin in your plugins folder. To do this you may need to reinstall AE.

It really does seem like it is all based around the glow plug-in.
I will try reinstalling the plug-in. Good idea. Thanks for the tip.
