I am working in Resolve 10 in a project with 2 timelines.
When using render cache, if I switch to the other timeline, I loose all my render cache from the first timeline.

Is there a way to make sure the render caches are saved so someone does not have to recalculate them all the time??

    Thanks

    no 😉
    Still not..
Even if the request is as old as Resolve by now.

But you could render the whole thing using the “professional workflow” ad then create a playback timeline with the outputs.
We do this on systems that are to slow to work in RT from RED files or have no external GPUs.

    A slice of color…

Thanks Sascha… yes it is too bad that Render Cache is not working better. I also wish there would be an easy way to deselect all “Mark clip for render cache” from clips, so at least you could work in a short sequence.

[Sascha Haber] “But you could render the whole thing using the “professional workflow””

Are you referring to a specific workflow? any link?

    Thanks,
