“Render as” > Video Totally black ?
Hello all 🙂
I have a big problem that I still don’t understand.
I import a video from my camera and then, in Sony Vegas 8, I applied some changes at the level of it (censor effect etc.).
I have 4 tracks at total:
-The 2 original (audio+video)
-The 2 others one (audio+video), modded version (censor effect etc.).
And at the final, I have to select all the tracks ‘CTRL+A’ then I click render as to export my video.
But here is my problem. SOME EITHER the video codec I choose, I obtain, in the output, a video without the picture ! The screen of the video is totally black BUT, we heard the sound. So, the video is running.Is someone able to help me about my problem please ?? :'(

What format did you chose to “render as”. Some formats are for audio only.

Here’s something I posted in another thread that hopefully will fit this too:
” I’m personally not so sure about this problem, but the thing you should try is to right click your clip, scroll down to “Switches” and select “Disable Resample”. I don’t know what resampling does, but it did the trick for me and made sure it didn’t render in black screen. “
