  Render and Email

  Hi All,

  Just a quick question, I have trolled the internet to try find some information about this…but I cant find anything.

  I have been trying to use the Render and Email script that ships with AE…I think it would be quite a handy tool as i could get AE to email me on my phone when I go for a render stroll around the office or to get a coffee, or when Im working late I can take a nap while I wait for a render and then wait for the email to wake me up.

  But I cannot get the thing to work and it seems so strange that I wouldnt work when it ships with AE. I have tried 3 different email accounts, my website, my gmail and my hotmail and none of them seem to work.

  Does anyone know if there is an instructional on how to set this up? From what I understand you cannot get the render then email script to work with gmail as it uses TLS and AE doesnt….

  But yes….if anyone knows anything about this or if anyone happens to use this script it would be great to know what email accounts it works with and which ones it doesnt etc…
