  • Render 5.1 Audio and a MOV file in Vegas Pro 13? Audio – NOT VIDEO – guy here :) Thanks :)

I have Vegas Pro 13 64-Bit. I need to render a MOV file with 6 channels of audio for playback in QLab for an original live theater presentation.

Any ideas/suggestions on how I can do this? I have tried several things in Vegas but all I’ve been able to do is a MOV file with only 2 channel stereo audio and a separate AC3 audio file. Being an audio guy, video is definitely not my strong point. I don’t know how to join the two 🙁

Is there some format I could render it in with 24 Bit 48K uncompressed 5.1 audio and then convert that to a MOV file for QLab playback?

    What would you do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    Thanks,
    Kevin 🙂

You have to enable multi-channel mapping. Follow my tutorial:

Multichannel Render Template in Vegas Pro

This should get you what you need.
