No, all assets are on the same drive.
Am rendering in chunks now,—few minutes at a time.
Latest section was 1:56 long, and it stopped rendering at 80%.
    Remove the offending photo,—start again.
So far the photos interfering with render are ones given to me for insertion on a CD ysterday,—later additions.
    They are tifs.
    Any thoughts?

aha – I believe .tifs need a version of Quicktime to be installed in order for Vegas to process them.

Another solution would be to convert the tifs to something like .png in your Paint program.

Yep… TIF’s require Quicktime to import. I don’t know about the latest version of Quicktime but previous versions required the “authoring” components to be installed. Either make sure Quicktime is completely installed or just change the format of the images as Peter recommended.

I have QT installed version 7.
I have rendered the project out in 9 sections.
All of the photos are tifs.
But about 18 would not render.
    1) can I add these to .avi tl after converting to .ping, as suggested.
    2) How exactly do i convert,—don’t have PS.
Curious that at least two of these photos appeared on the timeline, but were NOT in the source assets file.
