  • Rename of Sequences in FCP 5.02

    Hi

I just upgraded my second system to fcp 5.02 and found that when I import a psd file , snag a layer from it and then place it on another sequence THAT sequence gets renamed to the name of the psd file. This is truly a new one on me. Any thoughts?
Also, Michael Horton mentioned earlier that compressor was pretty slow , does that mean that using DVD studio pro 4 will create very slow DVDs?
    Hope not

I’ve seen this happen to nested sequences but not to a primary sequence.

I see you are an early riser Walter. I have actually never seen this so I am guessing it may just be a trash prefs thing. I’ll give a shot. Any idea about whether the compressor slowness will affect the slowness of dvd studio pro 4?
