    Work Flow question. EX-3
What can I safely rename in the BPAV folder? Files, Folders ETC without causing any big problems. Name or size restrictions?
I have a client that wants to rename files, and I need to know what is safe.

Can you help? Thanks COW community.

    NO NO NO.
NEVER rename any original folder or file created by the EX camera. You must create a parent folder for each BPAV folder every time.

If you have given him the original BPAV folders he can re-wrap the clips and name them anything he wants.

    Good Luck

Another way to look at it:
Would you change the case of a BetaSP or VHS tape even and expect it to fit into the tape machine?

    Hi Joe,
The most you can do is create a new folder -name it as you want- and put your BPAV folder inside.
Regarding file names, you should not change the original file names. But once you import them into your NLE system, in the browser window you can rename the clips to organize your video files.
    Hope this helps.
