    hi, i really need a help here. Does anyone know how to remove the vocal or the singer’s voice in the background music? because i only the background music and i’m just starting to learn adobe audition. i will extract the music from an audio cd. i’m very hopeful that someone can help me. thank you in advance and more power to you.

    As long as the singers voice is centered you can use the voice removal on the edit side of the program, there is a shortcut in the favorites tab … If you need to fine tune it you go to EFFECTS > AMPLITUDE > CHANNEL MIXER > VOICE CUT … I think you will find that it may affect the music as well …………..
