  Removing Motion Blur from XDCAM with no Steadyshot on

  Dearest Sacred Cow,

  Please grace me with a swift and awesome reply. I know you are sacred and I praise you, oh how I praise you!

  I’m in a rut with a verite style show I’m AEing and some of the footage was shot on XDCAM either with shutter off or Steadyshot off or both. Ultimately, what was once shot in 23.98 looks more like video and less like film-like video.

  I’ve checked my sequence settings, I’ve matched every piece of info and the math checks out, but it still looks a bit on the crap side.

  Are there any suggestions, perhaps something other than the ReelSmart?
