  • Removing Chapter Markers from QuickTime

    Hi,

I exported a DV NTSC resolution file from FCP to Quicktime and I exported it with CHAPTER markers.

Now, when I play the QT video back, it has a white bar at the the top of the frame with the chapter name.

Is there a way for me to make an export of that QT file WITHOUT those chapter names appearing?

    Thanks in advance,

    Wayne

Open the file in QT and hit Command-J. You should see the Video Track, Audio Track(s) and a text track. The text track is the chapter info. Just delete it and you should be good to go.
