Removing Blade tool edits…
Posted by Mark Pybus on September 16, 2009 at 8:46 pmHello,
I was curious as to whether or not there is a way to remove blade tool edits. Within Avid Media Composer you can map a menu item to the keyboard called ‘remove matchframe edits’. This command essentially removes the equivalent of ‘blade tool edit points’.
Thanks in advance!

If they’ve been there for a while, sometimes it’s easiest to just delete one part and untrim the adjacent clip to fill the empty space.

Thanks for your response.

in the way of editing, you check these things and then often forget what the answer is until years later
despite my trying to keep track of these things in a google doc…
the closest seems to be command lassoing the section with blade edits, getting the red roller bars, and hitting ‘delete’…
now going to try it on a much bigger sequence
