    Total Noob, Sincere apologies.

Got a logo with a transparent background.

How do i replace the default black background with a white one so i can have a nice crisp white look from edge to edge?

Place a Generated Media Solid Color using the “White” preset on the track under the logo.

What John said but also make sure that you right click the event and turn on the alpha channel. For some reasoon the default for Vegas is to bring the alpha in turned off.

Enrique, yes that appears to be correct. Just created a quick png still in Bluff Titler and brought it into a V6 project and the alpha was on.
