Removing Audio buzz from a clip (as opposed to audio hum)
HI,
I have some footage I need to use in a project, however it has a very loud buzz over it (I think the wireless was having issues and the guy with the headset said nothing!)
It is a higher frequency then the person speaking, who has a fairly low voice.
I have tried playing around with hiss cut and hum notch in track EQ (Vegas10e) as well as experimenting with a few of the others with no luck.
My knowledge of audio is fairly limited, hence this being my 3rd post with different audio issues 🙂
If anyone could give me some other ideas to try it would be great. Would prefer not to buy anything but could do if its not too pricey.

Audacity (it’s free) has noise removal tools that you can try.

I use Audacity. It’s free and very versatile. It’s not as powerful as software you pay for, but for what I do, it’s pretty much perfect.
