I have a 6seconds .avi with a single word along the lower half. Is there a way to block-out or delete that word from the avi please?

Not without After Effect, and likely some frame by frame cloning.

You could either make it 16:9 if it isn’t already, or maybe add a logo/lower tird to cover it ?

Thank you Vincent. It will have to be frame-by-frame?

Well, it depends on whether the area around the text changes or not. If it doesn’t, it’ll be a piece of cake.

do a search for “remove video logo” and read some threads… try “virtualdub”, “Delogo” or something like that. Or simply put a travelling matte over the bug.

    Best wish,
    Perry
